Links are a critical aspect of your online marketing strategy. The more quality inbound links you have, the higher your Page Rank climbs (1-10 – Google’s measure of the quality of a website) Let’s put it this way: Take two websites which both have great content & code optimization…which one will rank higher? Well, if website A has 100 inbound links, and website B no inbound links, it’s quite easy to make the connection that the site with the higher link count will rank better. There is a caveat here though. Let’s say both sites had 100 links, but one had “quality links, while the other had low quality spam links, again, clear to see which is more likely to get top ranks.
To get these inbound links, you are having to sit down at the computer all day and surf all over the web looking for places to link to, and emailing potential link partners. While not hard work, it’s definitely tedious, and time consuming.
